Warwick – Funny. Grappa doesn’t sound Irish.
But artist, actress, singer, entertainer and entrepreneur Rosita (Ita Rose) Gilsenan is a native of Ireland and she believes Warwick deserves a St. Patrick Day celebration.
“There are parades and parties all over,” she said. “But I wanted to do something special for Warwick.”
So on Sunday, March 15, from 5-7 p.m., her firm, Gilsenan Designs, will host a St. Patrick’s Day party at Grappa Ristarante, 22B Railroad Ave., in Warwick.
And, as one might expect, there will be traditional Irish food, music, dancing and entertainment.
Irish entertainer Kevin McElroy will be on hand to sing and play his guitar. Kerry Gleason, director of Warwick’s Kerry Dance New York School, will bring her award-winning Irish step dancers; Gilsenan herself will entertain guests with songs she learned in her native land.
