Sustainable Warwick, The Warwick Art League, the Town of Warwick, the Village of Warwick, County Waste and the Warwick High School Environmental Club have joined efforts to bring recycling bins to our Village and Town parks. Clearly a lot of people think this is an important project; now comes your part.
County Waste HAS provided the bins at no charge and, in keeping with the artistic acumen of our community; we would like to enhance the bins with your help. Whether you are an established painter or someone who would like to showcase your otherwise hidden talent.Appropriate drawings ( 11 x 16 ) for our public parks related to nature is encouraged; scenes of animals, landscapes rather than words are preferred. Please join us on Saturday, May 2nd from 10am to 2pm at the Senior Center on Kings Highway ( Town Hall) for some fun and to paint your images (subject to suitability of the the theme of course). All materials will be provided for the final work.
