The Arts Council presents the fourth in the 2009 workshop series, What Every Artist Wants to Know, but Is Afraid to Ask, on Tuesday, May 26 from 7-9pm. The topic will be ” Working Successfully with the Media.” Gain valuable knowledge to promote yourself or your organization more effectively from a panel of professionals representing all facets of the media including print, radio, web and television. Panelists include Dee DelBello, Publisher, HV Biz, Nancy Peckenham, editor of the website cornwall-on-hudson.com and who brings 25 years of publishing experience to the table, and Barry Plaxen, Publisher, D&H Canvas. The workshop will be held at the Arts Council office, 23 White Oak Drive in Sugar Loaf. The cost is $15 or free for artist and organization members of the Council. The 2009 workshop series is sponsored by Jacobowitz & Gubits, a diversified, full-service law firm.
