Susan Hope Fogel a member of the Pastel Society of America, will be giving a pastel demonstration for The WAL onSunday, September 6, in the Senior Room, behind Warwick Town Hall(132 Kings Highway) from 2PM-4PM.
The focus will be on developing form through chromatic progression with various pastel techniques.
Materials will be discussed including different surfaces that may be used for pastel painting.
Safety and health issues will also be discussed.
Susan is currently teaching drawing and painting principles at her art school, The Warwick Atelier, in which students learn
pastel and oil painting as part of the curriculum.
She is exhibiting her paintings at galleries in Santa Fe, Boston and Cape Cod.
