WVFA Gallery is pleased to present “HIGH NOTE”, a music themed art exhibit featuring Hal Gaylor’s Jazz Portraits and other local artists. Hal is an accomplished bass player turned artist living in The Hudson Valley. He will be the recipient of the first Annual Hudson Valley Jazz Festival Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony at The Lycian Theatre on Sunday Aug. 19, between the two scheduled jazz festival shows. Over 20 other artists are displaying music related art including: Jacinthe Battaglino, Lisa Cullen, Paula Donis, Richard Ferrar, Femi Ford, Hal Gaylor, Gary Genetti, Tom Hedderich, Janet Howard-Fatta, Diane Kominick-Ouzoonian, Cathe Linton, Mena Messina, Jeff Montanye, Yvonne Muller, Ann Marie Nitti, Elaine Ralston, Ivan Sanford, Frank Schuback, Meryl Simonson, Lorraine Sniderman, Chase Whitney, and John Willemse.
