Social Media 101 – A Beginner’s Guide Wednesday, April 29

Are you or your business brand new to the social media scene but have no idea where or how to begin? Or, perhaps you are already there and just need a refresher course. The Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce will offer a free workshop titled: “Social Media 101 – A Beginner’s Guide” on Wednesday, April 29 at Albert Wisner Public Library at One McFarland Drive in Warwick from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The workshop will be presented by Kristen Weiss, founder of KAWInteractive, a strategic internet marketing firm. Kristen is backed by 14 years of marketing expertise. Her services include website development, search marketing, search optimization, email marketing, social media marketing, website usability, and analytics. The seminar will teach local business owners the value of social media, best practices, metrics and return on investment (ROI), and how to select the right social media network brands for your brand, such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, and Linkedin, just to mention a few.

The Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce offers a series of educational seminars throughout the year. The “Social Media 101 – A Beginner’s Guide” event is free and space is limited.
