Exhibits in January: Photographers Renelle Lorray and Peter Kopher

This January offers two exhibits by WAL photographers:  Renelle Lorray at Greenwood Lake Public Library, and Peter Kopher at Wisner Library.

The Greenwood Lake Public Library’s Art Gallery will be showing the works of photographer Renelle Lorray for the month of January.  Lorray inherited her painterly vision from her father, who has degrees in art and music, and loved to collect paintings.  In particular, she had become interested in life cycles of various creatures that inhabit or visit her property. She will explore locations close to home, capturing the details that make up the whole picture. She has found that people enjoy “looking at and making a connection with what’s familiar – just presented in a different light.”  Greenwood Lake Public Library,  79 Waterstone Road in the Village of Greenwood Lake.
