WAL Meeting and Demo

The Warwick Art League will present a demonstration of inkjet transfer techniques on Sunday, May 2nd from 2-4 pm at the Senior Room of Warwick Town Hall (132 Kings Highway).

WAL members Jacinthe Battaglino and Lisa Zukowski will discuss various methods of transfers and demonstrate some easy inkjet transfer techniques.

Art in the Garden

Nearly 30 area artists will display their work at Warwick Gardens’ Art in the Garden, to be held on Saturday, June 27, from 3 to 8 p.m. (Rain date: Sunday, June 28.)

Jennifer Wardell and Tom Revelle, owners of Warwick Gardens, said that this second annual event will feature paintings, sculpture, pottery, jewelry, photography and other artwork set among the perennial beds and arching trees on their 18-acre property — combining the beauty of art with the beauty of nature.

Michael Purcell will play jazz and wine from local wineries will be served at the event.

All artwork on display will be available for sale and all artists will be on hand to discuss their work.

Participating artists include: Cathe Linton, Ginger Schmidt, Jeannette Ornstein, Howard Fields, Miriam Arocho, Terrie Wynne, Claudia Pflueger, Chris Bennington, Patricia Quinn, Linda Hanavan, Mena Messina, Karen Decher, Barbara Bressi, Amity Arts Pottery, James Van Gelder, Heidi Bilezikian, Susan Baresel, Susan Christison, Margaret Tench, Joyce Ferris, Daniel Grant and Ingela Noren, Elaine M. Garvin, Sanjib Mallik, Rhoda Mack, Jin Sun Bradner, Louis Fatta, Janet Howard-Fatta and others.

Warwick Gardens is located at 29 Foley Road in Warwick.

55th Annual Members’ Exhibition

The Warwick Art League is proud to sponsor its 55th Annual Members’ Exhibition. This art show, which takes place at Gallery Warwick in Warwick, NY, will run from June 6– June 28 2009, and displays some of the most creative works by member artists in a variety of media.

Opening Reception, Saturday, June 6, 6-9 PM.
Closing Reception and Awards Presentation, Sunday, June 28, 3-5 PM.

DELIVER works to Gallery Warwick, 17 River Street, Warwick, NY on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 between 11AM-12PM. Works must be ready to hang. (Eyelets and wire only, please No alligator clips). No wet paintings or work that has been formerly shown in previous members’ shows. The Warwick Art League reserves the right to reject any work deemed unsuitable.

WAL Salon Meeting
