On Sunday, June 2nd from 2pm-4pm, Doug Milne will conduct a demonstration for the WAL at the Warwick Senior Center (132 Kings Hwy, Warwick, NY 10990). This demonstration is free to WAL members, who can bring one guest, and $10 for non-members. Registration is required for members and non-members. Doug Milne is a botanical artist working in watercolor and color pencil. In 2010, Doug received a Certification of Horticulture from the New York Botanical Garden while simultaneously taking a full course load of botanical illustration classes. Doug is a member of Wendy Hollender’s Draw Botanical team, which offers botanical drawing instructions both in person and online. Doug is honored to be a member of the Florilegium at the National Tropical Botanical Garden in Kauai, Hawaii. His work is included in a book published in 2024 by the Florilegium in celebration of the Botanical Garden’s 60th Anniversary.
