From the Opening Reception of the Member’s Show…
Last night was the Opening Reception of The Warwick Art League 56th Annual Member’s Exhibition. The show is being held at Gallery Warwick, 17 River Street, in the village of Warwick. The opening was well attended, and everyone seemed to have a good time. Here are some pictures from last night.
Changes to the Site
There have been and will be some changes to the site in the next few days. We have switched our hosting, and are taking this opportunity to make some changes and (hopefully) improvements.

Drop off for the Members Exhibition is Wednesday
Wednesday, March 3, 2010 between 11AM-12PM is the time to DELIVER works to Gallery Warwick, 17 River Street, Warwick, NY for the 56th Annual Members’ Exhibition. Works must be ready to hang. (Eyelets and wire only, please No alligator clips). No wet paintings or work that has been formerly shown in previous members’ shows. The Warwick Art League reserves the right to reject any work deemed unsuitable.
In the event of snow, the rescheduled drop off is FRIDAY, MARCH 5, FROM 1PM-3PM. Please check this site Wednesday morning for any announcement of rescheduling due to weather.
Wallkill River School Workshops

Learn how to lay out a comic book in panels and vary “camera angles” to bring your story to life. Stained Glass Basics with Jerry Levinstein-Learn how to cut and join stained glass to make elegant, luminous art works. $200 (materials included) Tuesdays, 10-noon, Mar. 2, 9,16, 23

Botanical Art Workshop with Roberta Rosenthal-Learn drawing and watercolor painting from live botanical subjects. Measure accurately, learn proportion, perspective, shading and light source with proper drawing and painting techniques for realistic watercolor renderings. Bring lunch or order in.
