Meeting 1pm, Workshop 1:30 pm – 2:30pm
Award-winning jewelry designer, Cathe Linton will present a jewelry-making workshop. Cathe will provide easy to follow directions and all the necessary materials for us to make a lovely pair of earrings with Swarovski crystals and genuine pearls. This workshop could be a great mother/daughter outing as well as a hand-crafted gift. There is a materials fee of $5 for members, $10 for non-members or a special combination membership/materials fee of $30. Because space is limited and Cathe needs to bring enough supplies, please let Sarah McHugh know if you are planning to attend at sarah@mchughstudio.com or 845-987-8748 . If you leave a message, we will get back to you. The workshop will be held in the Senior Center, 132 Kings Highway, behind the Warwick Town Hall.
After a successful career as a high fashion model, Cathe became interested in jewelry designing. She has twice won the DeBeers Diamond Competition and her jewelry has been featured in galleries and stores, including Saks, Bendel’s and Harrod’s. Cathe is the owner of the Kokopelli Native American Gallery at 50 Main Street in Warwick which features many examples of her beautiful and unique jewelry.
During the meeting section, we will be sharing some future plans and would welcome your input..
