“HUES & VIEWS”  from the WAL at the AWL

The Warwick Art League’s Annual Members exhibition is scheduled for the month of September downstairs in the Community Room and the Outside Gallery.

Current for 2017 paid up members of the League are invited to submit up to 2 works at no fee, (Possibly a 3rd if there is enough room left)

No later than August 30th, please let Sarah know the information about the works you are bringing:
(Title, Medium, Price, Your Name ) so a listing can be prepared for confirmation at the time of the hanging and given to Kathleen for the labels as soon as possible.

Works that are sold, the artist is asked to give 10% of their sale to the library.

Hanging will have to take place Saturday Sept. 2nd from 9a.m. – noon.  Please try to come as early as possible. Thank you.  As you know “many hands make light work” SO please let her know if you can stay to help hang the show.  (Friday Sept 1st , the Community Room is going to be painted so that is why we have to do it on the 2nd)

The Meet & Greet Reception will take place on Friday, Sept 8th from 4 – 6pm.

On Sept 2nd there will be a sign up sheet to bring a snack or beverage to share for the reception.

The take down of the show will be Saturday, Sept 30th. A SIGN OUT will be provided for all to initial WHEN they have picked up their work. If you cannot make it that day, please try to make arrangements for someone to get it for you and do let Sarah know if you have a problem so we can keep track. Kathleen does not have enough room to hold works in her office as more works for the new show will also be there.
