Award-winning artist Susan Hope Fogel will be offering a drawing workshop with the Warwick Art League, on Sunday, March 15th from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at The Senior Center in Warwick, NY, 132 Kings Highway. Pre-registration is required for ALL by March 11th.

The name of the workshop is P-BUNS, an acronym for the 5 techniques to be revealed.

This workshop will focus on 5 drawing tips / techniques to help the artist self-correct their drawing. The goal is to incorporate these techniques to elevate drawing skills in the style of realism. By the end of the workshop, the artist will have a guidance and self-check system to use while creating their drawings. This workshop is appropriate and helpful to beginners or more experienced artists. 

Participants are asked to bring a #2 pencil, eraser and sketchpad. Note: These techniques can be used by anyone wishing to create a representational image in any media.

“I believe that strong foundation skills of drawing give an artist freedom to draw or paint any subject. Once the concepts of drawing are understood and practiced over and over again the artist will not be held back. Technicalities involved in capturing a convincing image should not ever be a stumbling block. In teaching over the years I have observed that weak drawing skills are holding artists back from improving their ability to create a representational image.

Learning the techniques and PRACTICING is a sure way to improve. Sorry to say there are no short cuts.  Drawing is a skill that everyone can learn. Dedication and practice will determine how far you will go. I consider this workshop your launching pad.” Susan Hope Fogel
