The Warwick Art League presents a drawing demonstration and workshop by one of its members, Mike De Angelis. “Usually, I work in watercolor, but I always draw, carrying a sketchbook everywhere I go. I love the experience of capturing a moment in time. Drawing can be spontaneous and a joy.”

This will be a two part session. In part one, Mike will demonstrate some methods and materials for the transferring of sketches to the final surface for painting, pastel, etc… Participants will be able to practice transferring methods. (Those who have attended his previous session can go to part two.) The second part, Mike will be sketching and demonstrating the many techniques used. 

Mike will provide paper and pens, but feel free to bring your own materials. He will bring objects and photos, but again, you may also bring your own.

The workshop takes place on Saturday, November 12th, from 2-4 pm, at The Senior Center, behind Warwick Town Hall, 132 Kings Highway. Free for members, $10 for non-members. Registration is helpful and encouraged. Call 845 987 8748 to register.
