The Greenwood Lake Public Library is pleased to announce that is the recipient of a grant in the amount of $1,250 from the New York State Council on the Arts’ Decentralization Program administered by Arts in
The grant application, submitted on behalf of the Library by Kelly Corrado, Coordinator of Adult Services, has been successfully awarded funding from the “2013 Arts Community Grants” program. The grant will fund the Library’s new “Explore the Arts @ Your Library” Project for adults in 2013 spearheaded by Corrado.
The Project will include visual and literary arts programming featured
in the Library’s StudioTime art instruction series returning this spring, as
well as the Writers’ Club creative writing series scheduled for this fall. Both
StudioTime and Writers’ Club were created by Corrado and are led by
local, award-winning artists and writers.
The Greenwood Lake Public Library is grateful to be the recipient of
this generous grant and would like to thank the New York State Council on
the Arts and Arts in Orange for their support, thus helping to bring quality
arts programming to the Library and to the Greenwood Lake community.
