Nancy Reed Jones will be our demonstrator on May 5 from 2pm-4pm at the Senior Room in Warwick.

Nancy Reed Jones trained as an oil painter at the Huntington Art League on Long Island.  She worked for many years on Long Island as a muralist both in hospitals and in private homes.  Her hospital murals were used by cancer patients as “guided imagery” to help alleviate the patients pain. Nancy is also an addictions counselor and has used art therapy to help people in recovery from addiction.

Nancy moved to the Hudson Valley several years ago and joined the Wallkill River School in Montgomery.  Nancy teaches acrylic workshops two days a week at the Wallkill River School and is one of the “plein air” demonstrators.
