Susan Hope Fogel paints large. Whether she is working in oils in the style of traditional realism or using watercolors with an experimental technique, her paintings connect viewers to her vision of art. The exhibit visually explains her distinctly different avenues of approaching these two media — oil paintings demonstrating her fascination with North Light and plein air, and watercolors using the style of Deconstruction.

Susan Hope Fogel is the judge for the 2018 MAG show. She teaches traditional realism in pastel and oil painting at The Ridgewood Art Institute and experimental watercolor workshops at her art school, The Warwick Atelier. Her works and techniques have been featured in American Artist Magazine and Step-by-Step Guide focusing on oil painting in North Light, Art Times Journal as well as Splash 18.
