Calling Artists: WHOA! Wallisch Hmstd Exhibit (5/19)

Shared by WAL member, Dee Wexler, ‘WHOA! Wallisch Homestead Original Artshow and Sale’ is to benefit the Wallisch Homestead Scholarship Fund.

If you would like to enter pieces of art work, a registration fee of $25 per artist is required. Entries will be limited to 3 pieces per artist. Pre-registration is required. If an artist chooses to have their piece for sale, and it sells, a tax deductible commission of 20% will be collected by the Friends of Wallisch Homestead. Awards will be presented for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each of the following categories: ·Watercolor ·Oil ·Pastel ·Drawing ·Photography (Enhanced & Non-enhanced) ·ages 12 & under ·ages 12 to 18· ages 19 and above. Note: Entrants under the age of 18 and under can elect to be judged in any category. Professional artists will judge the entries and their determination will be final. Awards given.

Paintings and Photography should be securely mounted and wired for hanging. All photographs and paintings must be labeled with the labels provided on the Friends of Wallisch Homestead website. Receiving day for all entries is Saturday, May 19th, from 10AM-2PM at the barn at the Wallisch Homestead 65 Lincoln Ave West Milford, NJ. Pick-up will be on last day of showing June 4th from 3PM to 4PM.

The 4th Annual Exhibition is Saturday, June 2nd, 10 AM –4 PM and Sunday, June 3rd, 10 AM –3 PM at the Wallisch Homestead, 65 Lincoln Avenue, West Milford, NJ. Admission is free, however donations are graciously accepted. All proceeds will benefit the Wallisch Scholarship Fund. (There will be a private Artist’s Reception on Friday, June 1st from 6PM to 9PM.)
